Her manager Dan makes our jobs easy. And we are [insert synonym for "stoked" here later].Jokes about LinkedIn Meta aside... Lily is a dynamic talent - illustrator, musician, voice actress, Vtuber, painting while interviewing multi-tasker... gameplay content is just another medium for her express herself. She's been a foundational member of the streaming and gaming communities for a long time and there is still more to come.[Insert better version of "can't wait to see what cool stuff we can do together" here later. It's easy in any job to brush past the highs, the fun, the successes and just mercilessly move on to the next, dwell on the lows and forget the good work that has been done, perhaps especially so as an agent (or an NFL Kicker?).I have to remind myself to enjoy the moment on occasion and the week of Nick Eh's Icon Skin launch on Fortnite is one of those times I tried to push against my nature to zoom out and just enjoy. To see the expression on Nick's face when he revealed his skin, the culmination of years of blood, sweat and tears and as cheesy as it sounds, a dream come true, was one of those moments worth hanging on to.Nick is just such a truly wonderful human. He is the same person off screen as on, there is no act. It's been fun not to only to see his own reactions but to see the reactions of his colleagues who are all so genuinely happy for him.If you don't smile from start to finish watching the linked video below, where Nick's friends and other streamers react to his skin reveal and music video, then you have an incurable heart of stone. Excuse me if I'm a bit saccharine here, but lucky to be a part of team Nick, so thrilled for him and thankful to have these moments that remind us why we do this work.Huge thank you to innumerable people at Epic I'm sure that were in the background, but of course to Julia Onken Brown who I can not possibly rave about enough. Scott the Woz has slipped just under the radar for many on the business side of creators. But not for much longer... He's built an incredibly tight knit fanbase over years, building trust and not "monetizing" or expanding too aggressively or too soon. He's never done a brand deal and all his merchandise to date has been for charity. (An agent's dream right??)Jokes aside, while patience and diligence isn't always headline grabbing, Scott's been thoughtful about his growth and it's paid dividends with the community he's built. With all that, it's exciting to see one of his first projects to go public off YouTube be a sell-out of a 1k+ seat legendary venue within hours of announce.If you are in Chicago check it out!
