Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration becauseit supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an early Head Start teacher, I work with eight children and one child with a disability starting at the age of 15 months to 3 years old. My goal is to provide and nurture their learning through play. Our classroom needs a new kitchen set since ours is missing part of the sink and is damaged from the outside. I want to give my toddlers a sense of welcome and enjoy what their minds are about to explore.
I also place a set of dramatic play toys to keep expanding their learning, such as how to bake cookies and how to cook delicious food that can include protein, vegetables, fruits, grain, and milk.
Teach our little ones that we can eat healthy. Thank you for all your support.
