Anime characters are like their children for most authors. While it is fun to come up with different personalities for characters, it is essential to create something holistically. Knowing specific details about our favorite characters is cool to know, I mean it’s fun to find out when their birthdays are and what they are fond of.

But what are Gemini personalities like? Well, Geminis are quite bubbly, talkative, and energetic. They’re all kinds of whimsical and outgoing, they like being around their friends and just being the life of the party. But, like all personalities, there’s a downside to it. Sometimes, the energy they give may get too invasive and they might end up being nosy.

Poking their noses into someone else’s business and such. They can easily adapt to any situation, going with the flow and just trying to appease the crowd. It is that side of their personality that makes them indecisive and incapable of discerning which is right or wrong.

Shinobu Sensui strictly viewed the world as black and white, forgetting that almost everything has a grey area in between.

30. Yui Yuigahama (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU)

This cutie is a very bubbly character that beams with optimism. We’re seeing the outgoing side of a Gemini here, Yui Yuigahama is a cheerful girl that can easily adapt to any situation. She is pretty good at reading the mood and can adapt to it. Although, it’s ideally not the best way to do it since her true opinions are unheard, in this aspect she dislikes being the reason that causes arguments or discord in the class. It’s just never a dull moment when she’s around.

29. Chihaya Ayase (Chihayafuru)

Though Chihaya doesn’t look like it, she is actually tomboyish and quite outgoing. She is also very ambitious, despite not doing so well academically. Her friendliness and gullibility are what sometimes causes her to be deceived at times. Well, Geminis are very friendly people and would often like to please the crowd. She can be absent-minded at times and oblivious to the things around her, but her sheer focus when it comes to karuta is like no other. Chihaya is known to be a ‘beauty in vain’ because her looks don’t match her petty and funny personality.

28. Kurenai Yuhi (Naruto)

Birthday: June 11

Not much is known about Kurenai aside from being the mentor of Team 8 and the wife of Asuma. But she’s actually more than just that. Kurenai Yuhi became a second parent to Hinata and was also present during the fight with Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki. She was named the best genjutsu user by the Konoha Shinden: Stream Ninja Scrolls, no one in Konoha was on par with her–at least not yet. But what makes her a Gemini? Kurenai enjoyed the arts and the skills and is quite friendly to her co-instructors. Though she is not an impulsive Gemini, she takes a step back and thinks before making decisions.

27. Hinami Fueguchi (Tokyo Ghoul)

Hinami holds a special place in my heart, especially during those times in the first season. When she was young, she was a shy kid who was confused about being displaced. But she soon got along with Kaneki and Touka who she considered family. Though when disaster struck, she had a different way of coping with her loss. Until such time that she decided to get stronger. Her Gemini self shows here as she makes a stern decision in joining the Aogiri Tree. Despite joining a powerful group, she still can’t bring herself to kill people—an indecisiveness part of a Gemini.

26. Yu Kanda (D. Gray – Man)

Well, Yu Kanda may not have been the kindest Gemini, but he still exudes the characteristics. He’s rather cold and stoic, yet sometimes arrogant with his abilities. It shows that he has some kind of confidence in who he is and what he can do. He makes rash decisions when his comrades are slowing them down, he will instantly leave those behind him and will not care whether they die or not. But he may not be heartless at all as he often rescues his comrades and puts his life at risk. Yes, his impulsiveness is quite frequent but at least he did something good.

25. Rikka Takanashi (Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions)

Rikka has a case of chuunibyo and she’s definitely living up to her fantasies and whatnot–constantly. She is theatrical and very dramatic. She’s fun to look at because she reminds me of Fischl from Genshin Impact. Anyway, she is beaming with Gemini energy as she is outgoing and confident. Though her delusions may have been used as a scapegoat for certain things, it’s common for a Gemini to get flighty and irresponsible so—it explains her behavior. Rikka is a bubbly person and cares for the people around her, and in turn, they make sure to keep her in check.

24. Kisumi Shigino (Free! Eternal Summer)

Birthday: May 26

Kisumi Shigino is a salmon-haired athlete of Iwatobi Junior High School with the rest of the main characters in the series. He’s quite extroverted and outgoing, fueled with Gemini energy. He has a lot of self-confidence and enjoys teasing his friends. A number of people quite enjoy his presence, but Haruka finds him extremely annoying. I, for one, would like to stare at him all day~

23. Mitsuri Kanroji (Demon Slayer)

This Hashira of Love is quite a character, she is passionate, kind, and very emotional. Fitting for her position as a pillar. But aside from these aspects, she is also quite strong. Her strength could be compared to Giyu and Sanemi with her abnormal muscular constitution. Her bubbly and caring personality screams Gemini as she shows her love towards others. Especially her passion as Gemini women are quite passionate, we also get to see that when she holds Obanai in her arms as they profess their love for each other.

22. Winry Rockbell (Fullmetal Alchemist)

Winry Rockbell is a tough cookie, a training surgeon, and a mechanical repair specialist/enthusiast. She is proficient with what she’s doing and is often seen fawning over new parts. She would also scold Edward every time he damaged her babies. To sum up her personality, she’s bubbly, hot-headed, emphatic, and cheerful. All qualities point to a true Gemini, but aside from these she also shows a different side of her when ‘love’ becomes the topic. Though she did get flustered when she started having feelings for Edward—either way, I am happy their ship sailed and continued to voyage.

21. Teru Mikami (Death Note)

Of course, Geminis can have villains too… but it’s still baffling whether Mikami was born this way or perhaps experienced trauma. Either way, he shares the same views as Light—his sense of Justice is as twisted as Light’s. His discernment for good and bad is rigid, he categorizes people and would punish even the smallest mistakes. Wanting to ‘delete’ them off of the face of the earth. Aside from his sociopathic tendencies, he’s actually an intellectual man. But not every murderer gets away with their deeds, his own personality was the reason for his downfall.

20. Ash Ketchum (Pokémon)

Birthday: May 22

Ash Ketchum is our childhood hero. We’ve probably seen most of the franchises that have him in it, so if you remember his birthday—that’s right he’s a Gemini. Ash is generally a kind and passionate young boy. Yeah, he’s been young for years now. But aside from that, he’s also quite stubborn and hard-headed, more qualities that scream Gemini. He’s a charming kid that has big dreams of being a pokemon master, he’s got his eyes set on the prize and we’re just here along for the ride.

19. Charmy Pappitson (Black Clover)

Birthday: June 3

Charmy is the one character I resonate with the most mainly because food is at the center. Everything she does tends to be centered around food and I am at that point in life as well—I just don’t stay petite like Charmy. She is also stingy with food, she’ll turn on you so don’t make any funny attempts! Though, if you approach her amicably she is actually a fun person to hang around, she enjoys her meals with her friends and enemies (the non-threatening ones), so she shows she cares by sharing her food. Throughout the series, we get to see her passion with how she views food and how her abilities translate that passion.

18. Chitoge Kirisaki (Nisekoi)

Birthday: June 7

Chitoge is labeled as a tsundere right off the bat as she is hot-headed towards people who she finds annoying. She was quite hostile towards Raku Ichijo, Shu Maiko, and Marika Tachibana. But soon she was able to get to know her friends better and actually care for them. Chitoge easily becomes cheerful and helpful towards her friends. Besides her hot-headedness and cheerful stature, she also has a vulnerable side that not everyone knows. She’s grown attached to the red ribbon that she wears allowing us to see how she’s just a normal teenager going through a lot of stuff.

17. Shinji Ikari (Neon Genesis Evangelion)

Birthday: June 6

Shinji Ikari is a good example of how Geminis sometimes tend to be impulsive and indecisive, but we can’t blame him. He’s had trouble in his past that caused him trauma, and just like us, he made questionable decisions. But despite his hurdles, he’s grown to realize that he has to move on from the past. Showing that he indeed would appreciate some praise and continue to grow.

16. Ai Ohto (Wonder Egg Priority)

What happened to Ai’s friend was a tragedy, as her first and only friend left her all alone. She became an introvert and shut everyone out. She cares deeply about those dear to her and would do anything for them. Though she blames herself for the passing of her friend, she still musters some kindness and confidence whenever she helps other people. Showing the kind and caring personality of a Gemini. Loneliness was something Ai was accustomed to, yet she unconsciously yearns for her friend’s company.

15. Sosuke Aizen (Bleach)

We have to be careful when talking about Aizen as the final arc is here! Are you hyped? Haven’t watched it yet? You should!! Well, anyway Sosuke Aizen is a very intelligent and polite person. He greets his subordinates with a smile and is often soft-spoken. However, what looms behind his delicate smiles is a calculative dictator. He rules over his Arrancar army through respect and fear, making sure that no one questions his reign. Both aspects of his personality align with being a Gemini as his discernment for good and bad is right up its alley of being poor. But, ain’t he a dreamboat?

13. Elizabeth Liones (The Seven Deadly Sins)

Birthday: June 12

Initially, Elizabeth had low self-esteem and exhibited self-doubt. She would feel insecure about how weak she was and how she can’t do anything to help her friends in battle. Though it may have taken her a while to finally step up, she was determined to get stronger after Melodias told her to not travel with him for the time being. Soon, she mustered up courage and confidence. Not only that, she continues to be grateful and caring towards people. She enjoys hanging around people and goes the extra mile by offering homes to strangers.

13. Kou Mabuchi (Blue Spring Ride)

Birthday: May 27

Kou Mabuchi used to be an outgoing and kind boy, but ever since his mother died he didn’t know how to react and cope with his loss. Which resulted in bottled feelings and a change in perspective. He was no longer the happy kid that Futaba Yoshioka knew. He comes off rude and harsh as a teenager. He would often sound pessimistic and sarcastic, probably still in grief all those years. Soon, he finds himself and better understands his feelings for Yoshioka~

12. Shion Karanomori (Psycho-Pass)

Birthday: May 25

Shion is an interesting character as she serves as an Analyst in the Criminal Investigation Department of the Public Safety Bureau and happens to be a latent criminal. With her beauty and brains, she’d definitely be able to help in any case. She frequently flirts with Kogami but is seen having intimate relations with Kunizoka. Moreover, she also exudes a sympathetic side of her and is seen during her conversations with Tsunemori and Kunizoka.

11. Hisoka Morow (Hunter x Hunter)

Birthdat: June 6

As you all know, this handsome villain is an overconfident and self-serving man. He does anything that he wants and enjoys battling strong opponents. He has weird standards for those he likes and would often check that they aren’t ‘trash’ because he would not hesitate to ‘take out the garbage.’ He would kill people that he sees unworthy regardless of age or gender. He is known to have an insane blood-lust and would come off as sociopathic, he still has awareness of his limitations. Bottomline, he’s a dangerous, deceitful, and manipulative man.

10. Koshi Sugawara (Haikyuu!!)

Birthday: June 13

Though the manga may have already ended, Sugawara and the rest of Haikyuu!! will forever be in my heart. Sugawara was the vice-captain of Karasuno, in fulfilling his role he exuded a nurturing nature to the team—to balance out Daichi’s punishments. He makes sure to support his teammates, especially Hinata when ended up showing up to the First Year Training Camp uninvited.

I can still feel the second-hand embarrassment from that episode… anyway, aside from his kind and caring side he can also get mischievous as he enjoys teasing his teammates. He likes to rile them up strategically and shows he won’t back down from competing with the first years.

9. Juuzou Suzuya (Tokyo Ghoul)

Birthday: June 8

Suzuya is one of my favorite characters in Tokyo Ghoul, his character had an interesting take on traumatic experiences. Though often labeled as the ‘problem-child’ Suzuya would take notice, proving that he has feelings–to an extent. He may come off as unable to care about life and death since Big Madame’s years of torture hammered it away.

He’s a prime example of being unable to discern which is right or wrong, though I think it’s more of his upbringing rather than being a Gemini—still, the astrological sign coincides. During the time skip, Suzuya has matured and shows more emotions than when he was younger. His hate for ghouls still persists but at least he’s able to discern certain decisions.

8. Hikaru & Kaoru Hitachiin (Ouran Highschool Host Club)

Birthday: June 9

The Hitachiin twins are famous for their handsome looks and their game of “Which one is Hikaru?” Hikaru, the older twin has key differences from Kaoru, for starters, Kaoru is more mature than his older brother as he understands more about the dependency on each other and his awareness of his own emotions.

Hikaru struggles a bit and actually depends more on his younger twin than he knows, kind of like reversed roles despite the age. Hikaru and Kaoru both resonate with the traits of a Gemini, making them either possess all the traits or one would have the good traits and the other the negative traits.

7. Umetarou Nozaki (Monthly Girls Nozaki-Kun)

Birthday: June 6

Nozaki is a really good manga artist but he can only do the “shoujo” art style, well seeing that he is obsessed with his two main characters Mamiko and Suzuki. I wish I had his skills… anyway, he is quite passionate about his work and manga in general as his life seems to revolve mainly around it. Basically, anything that he sees that can be used for reference, he will go all out and love it, study it, and then come up with a scene for his manga. To an extent that they sometimes sound cliche, far-fetched, and albeit ridiculous.

6. Toshinori “All Might” Yagi (My Hero Academia!)

Birthday: June 10

THIS MAN IS AN ICON, A LEGEND, AND THE MOMENT! As we all know, All Might’s persona is somewhat derived from the stereotypical comic book heroes. With the underwear on the outside and dramatic capes, All Might’s got it all! But what makes him a Gemini? Well aside from his birth date, Toshinori is a beacon of hope when he’s in his hero form he becomes the life of literally everything, and that allows us to have some sort of hope to cling to.

When he reverts to his original form he looks like an average joe, the kind of guy you wouldn’t take a double look at but would still hang around regardless. Despite that, his kindness and confidence still seep through. No matter what form, he’s the same All Might we all know and love.

5. Hinata Tachibana (Tokyo Revengers)

Birthday: May 21

This pink-haired cutie has a bubbly personality that just beams with joy. She is outgoing and somehow able to turn your frowns upside down! She is also strong-willed, which makes the Gemini in her all the more bright. But despite her upbeat attitude, she has the tendency to make rash decisions and end up doing something without thinking it through. Accompanied by her strong will is her tendency to jump to conclusions as Geminis are notorious for making impulsive and quick decisions without fully assessing the situation. Well, we’ve all been there, done that!

4. Asmodeus Alice (Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-Kun)

Birthday: June 6

Earlier known as prideful and egotistical, Alice made it a point that he’ll be an important figure in school. He takes pride in his abilities and is quite confident that he’ll bag a few ranks sometime soon. Until he meets, challenges, and loses to Iruma. Their dynamic is interesting as we get to see a different side of Alice, yes he may be hot-headed but he is also kind and carries a code of honor—no matter how weird it gets. He becomes a loyal and dear friend to Iruma and shows that by fully realizing that he is his friend and not just a servant.

3. Osamu Dazai (Bungo Stray Dogs)

Birthday: June 19

Osamu Dazai is a weird guy who has an avid obsession with dying. In fact, the first time we see him we find him drowning in the river. He is a mysterious person, his past is shrouded with dark stories and the person we know today is…well Dazai. But most of the time, he’s pretty funny and outgoing as he gets along with his teammates well.

All his shenanigans are very dramatic but somehow effective in their detective work. He also cares deeply for his friends and makes an effort to keep the peace, so no life has to end—well maybe his as he does love death so much.

2. Suguru Geto (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Birthday: February 3

Suguru Geto is an extremist, going so far as to call non-sorcerers monkeys and feel superior over them. This Gemini is one twisted character as he values sorcerers as his family yet continues to pursue a darker path.

1. Itachi Uchiha (Naruto)

Birthday: June 9

Itachi was a very intelligent individual, even when was younger. He showed a calm and collected personality that made him able to communicate well and assess situations better. Despite showing a promising talent as a young ninja, he continues to be humble and observes people from afar. He has a noble heart in a way as he becomes a ninja for the village, putting their needs above his—but at the cost of his family.

He made sure that the outcome of his mission was to make sure Sasuke would be safe. After everything that he’s done, he shows a passion for being a brother. We get to see that when he was holding Sasuke in his arms when he was a baby when he died, and then got reincarnated. He was able to get his message across to his brother and passed on.
